Weddings and Funerals

The Christian marriage ceremony is a service of worship before God, and weddings celebrated at St. Philip reflect that through prayer, blessings, witness, and vows to God. St. Philip welcomes couples wishing to be married as a sign of God's blessing upon their union and the establishment of a Christian home. Weddings require a nominal fee, arrangements made well enough in advance to allow for a well-planned service of worship, and three sessions of Marriage Preparation Counseling. If you are interested in celebrating your wedding at St. Philip, please contact one of the Pastors by calling the Church Office or clicking here.

Death can be a time of welcome release from suffering or a time of shock and devastation. The Christian Church ministers to families in grief through participation in public worship at the funeral service, and reaffirms faith in the resurrection as one of the central doctrines of the Christian faith. Should you need to discuss funeral arrangements, please contact one of the Pastors by calling the Church Office or clicking here.
